DESTIN – Children can decorate their wagons in a favorite nautical theme and bring them to AJ’s parking lot for the Wagon Parade at 2 p.m. Sept. 29. There will be kid’s activities, refreshments, and awards for the Best Wagons.
Rock the Dock Kick-Off Party
DESTIN – AJ’s will host the 64th Annual Destin Fishing Rodeo Rock the Dock Party at 6 p.m. Sept. 29.
OKALOOSA ISLAND – The Emerald Coast Boat Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 29-30 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center. This 3-day show will feature center consoles, runabouts, pontoons, cruisers, and deck boats, from 14' to more than 39' in length. Adult admission is only $5.00 and kids under 16 and parking are always free.

Wednesday Night Concert Series
SANDESTIN – The Village of Baytowne Wharf presents a free concert with The Designated Decoys from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 3 in the Events Plaza. Call 267-8186.
Window Gallery Display
FORT WALTON BEACH – To showcase the work of local artists, the Arts and Design Society presents exhibits in their studio windows facing First Street. In October, the work of Penny MacPherson, sculptor and painter in oils, will be on display. Call 244-1271.
Hops for the House
SANDESTIN – A limited number of tickets are available for ‘Hops for the House’, a beer tasting and dinner, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 4 at Carrabba’s Italian Grill. Tickets are a $45 donation and include beer tastings, appetizer and dinner, consisting of entrée, side and salad. FORT WALTON BEACH – The Arts and Design Society, 17 First St., will offer a Paper Cloth workshop from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 4. Learn to transform cloth, paper, and glue into basic paper cloth, which may then be used as is or later incorporated into other art forms such as collage, jewelry, ornaments, book covers, etc. Cost is $30/ members and $35/non-members plus a $10 supply fee. FORT WALTON BEACH – An opening reception for Night Vision, an exhibition of art based on nocturnal themes, will be held from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 5 at the Arts and Design Society, 17 First St. The show runs Oct. 2 through Oct. 27. Call 244-1271.
Destin Seafood Festival
DESTIN – The 34th Annual Destin Seafood Festival returns to its original home on the Destin harbor from 3-10 p.m. Oct. 5, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 6 and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 7. Enjoy fresh local seafood, live music, artists, Kids Zone and more. The event is free and donations will be accepted at the door.
