Big Kahuna's VIP Day will be held June 9 with 100 percent of proceeds to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northwest Florida. VIP Tickets are $30 each or 4 for $110 and must be purchased in advance. Big Kahuna's season ticket holders can get tickets to the VIP event for a $10 donation. Rock the Docks LIVE

DESTIN - Rock the Docks LIVE with a free public concert at 7 p.m. June 1 at HarborWalk Village. Audience members can join house band Déjà Vu and sing with full lights and sound show.

Billy Bowlegs Festival

FORT WALTON BEACH- The 58th Annual Billy Bowlegs Pirate Festival opens at 10 a.m. June 1. Scheduled activities are recorded music, 10 a.m. to noon; Pirate Karaoke, 12-1:30 p.m. on stage; Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers, 2:30-5:30 p.m. on stage; The Pirate Landing, 4-5 p.m.; and Don't Stop Believin' (Journey Tribute Band) from 7:30-9 p.m. on stage.

Pirate Pete

DESTIN - Come to HarborWalk Village at 6 p.m. June 2 to see "Pirate Pete and the Case of the Missing Fisherman," an interactive children's show that searches the area for Fisherman Fred. Be prepared to sing, dance, and be silly. You might even get picked to be part of the crew of Pirate Pete's ship.

Buccaneer Pirates meet Titans

Join the Titans Cheerleaders on a dinner cruise aboard the Buccaneer Pirate Ship June 3. Tickets are $45/adults and $25/children ages 4-14. Call 269-0896.

Pardi Gras

DESTIN – Every Tuesday during the summer from 6-10 p.m. HarborWalk Village transforms into "The Big Easy" with floats, beads, the Village Brass Band, stilt walkers, jugglers and lots of excitement during the parade through the Village. The Titans Cheerleaders will be Grand Marshalls on June 4. Local cheerleaders are wanted to show spirit on a float. Prizes awarded for more spirited cheer squad. Call 687-0985.

Concerts in the Village

DESTIN - The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s 18th Annual Concerts in the Village presents The Mike Veal Band at 7 p.m. June 6 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village Dugas Pavilion. Admission is $8/adult and children under 12 and MKAF members are free. Call 650-2226.

Americana Under the Stars

SANTA ROSA BEACH - James Hawkins performs at 6 p.m. June 6 at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for the concert series, Americana Under the Stars.

Red, White and Blue Celebration

DESTIN – The Red, White, and Blue Celebration, honoring a local hero who goes above and beyond to better their community, will be held from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday at HarborWalk Village. Enjoy live entertainment, free kid’s crafts and face painting, a WWII replica flyover and fireworks over the harbor. Call 424-0600.

Star gazing

DESTIN – Henderson Beach State Park on U.S. 98 will host a star gazing program from 6-10 p.m. June 7. The park will close at sunset. All those attending should arrive prior to sunset.  Call park for sunset time.  Program included in the park admission fee. Call 837-7550.

Stage Crafters

FORT WALTON BEACH - Stage Crafters presents Skyscraper, a story of life, love, friendship, and chance encounters by Pulitzer-prize-winning playwright David Auburn, at 7:30 p.m. June 7 and 8 at the Fort Walton Beach Civic Auditorium.  Tickets are $15 and are available at P.S. World Oceans Day

DESTIN - Henderson Beach State Park will celebrate World Oceans Day with family-centered activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 8.  An informative sea turtle program will be presented by park rangers. The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge staff will bring their animal ambassadors to share their rescue stories. Children’s ocean-themed art activities will also be included.  Program included in the park admission fee. Call 837-7550.
