Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse of Destin unveils new East Bar

Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse of Destin unveiled its new East Bar May 10 with an exclusive cocktail party. In just two hours, the event hosted more than 250 guests and raised $5,000 for the Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. Specifically, the money raised will aid in the Foundation’s efforts to purchase a PET/CT scanner, the latest healthcare device being implemented into the hospital that detects cancer in its earliest stages.
Guests enjoyed exploring the East Bar’s modern atmosphere, designed by Mark Becnel, and unique artwork by artist Chad Broadley. The event also had live music and delicious hors d’oeuvres featuring new items from the East Bar’s menu as well as classic favorites from the Ruth’s Chris dinner menu.
Local businesses came together to sponsor the event by donating more than $9,000 in silent auction prize packages.
“We were sincerely honored to host the event to raise money for such a great cause,” Mike Sable, general manager of Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, said. “Every year we want to make an effort to support our community. We were thrilled to see the generosity from other businesses and those who attended. ”
