Whiskey Gentry

Cornhole Series

OKALOOSA ISLAND - The Gulf Coast Cornhole Series returns June 29 to Angler’s Beachside Grill. Teams of two will play to compete for $1,000 in gift cards and prizes at the qualifying tournaments. Top teams at the final tournament will be awarded $1,000 in cash prizes, cornhole boards from Custom Corn Toss and merchandise. Register at www.kaboomssc.com/tournaments, mail in registration form, or sign-up day of the event. Cost is $20 per team with online or mail-in registration, and $30 at the door.

Rock the Docks LIVE

DESTIN - Rock the Docks LIVE with a free public concert at 7 p.m. Saturdays at HarborWalk Village. Audience members can join house band Déjà Vu and sing with full lights and sound show.

Pirate Pete

DESTIN - Come to HarborWalk Village at 6 p.m. June 30 and July 7, 21, and 28 to see "Pirate Pete and the Case of the Missing Fisherman," an interactive children's show that searches the area for Fisherman Fred. Be prepared to sing, dance, and be silly. You might even get picked to be part of the crew of Pirate Pete's ship.

Pardi Gras

DESTIN – Every Tuesday during the summer from 6-10 p.m. HarborWalk Village transforms into "The Big Easy" with floats, beads, the Village Brass Band, stilt walkers, jugglers and lots of excitement during the parade through the Village.

Wednesday Night Concert Series

SANDESTIN – The Village of Baytowne Wharf presents Dread Clampitt from 7-9 p.m. July 3 in the Events Plaza. Call 267-8186.

Concerts in the Village

DESTIN - The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s 18th Annual Concerts in the Village presents David Seering's American Patriotic Tribute at 7 p.m. July 3 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village Dugas Pavilion. Admission is $8/adult and children under 12 and MKAF members are free. Call 650-2226.

Americana Under the Stars

SANTA ROSA BEACH - Lucky Mud performs at 6 p.m. July 4 at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park for the concert series, Americana Under the Stars.

Red, White and Blue Celebration

DESTIN – The Red, White, and Blue Celebration honoring a local hero who goes above and beyond to better their community will be held from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday at HarborWalk Village. Enjoy live entertainment, free kid’s crafts and face painting, a WWII replica flyover and fireworks over the harbor. Call 424-0600.

Air Show

PENSACOLA BEACH - The 2013 Pensacola Beach Air Show will be held from 1-3 p.m. July 12 and 13 with some of the best aviation performers in the country. A free concert featuring The Tams follows the show at 7 p.m. July 13 at Casino Beach Gulfside Pavilion. 

Les Misérables

NICEVILLE - Northwest Florida State College presents Les Misérables July 17-20 and 25-27 at the college’s Mattie Kelly Arts Center featuring a cast of talented regional actors. Tickets are $25/adults and $20/youth ages 18 and younger and may be purchased in-person, by phone at 729-6000 or at www.mattiekellyartscenter.org.

Art Exhibits

NICEVILLE - Michael Aurbach’s Secrecy Series and New Work from Denise Choppin will be on exhibit through July 19 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Galleries at NWFSC. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 90 minutes prior to most performances. Call 729-6044.
