Rock the Docks LIVE

DESTIN - Rock the Docks LIVE with a free public concert at 7 p.m. Saturdays at HarborWalk Village. Audience members can join house band Déjà Vu and sing with full lights and sound show.

Pardi Gras

DESTIN – Every Tuesday during the summer from 6-10 p.m. HarborWalk Village transforms into "The Big Easy" with floats, beads, the Village Brass Band, stilt walkers, jugglers and lots of excitement during the parade through the Village.

Red, White and Blue Celebration

DESTIN – The Red, White, and Blue Celebration honoring a local hero who goes above and beyond to better their community will be held from 6-8 p.m. every Thursday at HarborWalk Village. Star Gazing by the Shore

DESTIN - Volunteers from the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association will set up telescopes for public viewing of star clusters, planets, and galaxies and answer questions about the night sky from 5:30-10 p.m. Aug. 9 at Henderson Beach State Park. Also, prior to sunset, the telescopes will be equipped for safe viewing of the sun. The park will close at sunset.  All those attending the star gaze should arrive prior to sunset. ADSO Instructors’ Show

FORT WALTON BEACH- An opening reception for the Arts and Design Society's "ADSO Instructors' Show" will be held from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 9 at the gallery, 17 First Street, SE. This exhibit showcases the work of ADSO instructors and runs Aug. 6-Sept. 6.

Artists for Oktoberfest

BLUEWATER BAY - The 19th annual Oktoberfest and Arts & Crafts Festival at Winn Dixie Plaza needs artists and craftsmen interested in selling their work. The festival, sponsored by the Mid-Bay Rotary Club, will be held from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 27 and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 28. Cost for the 2-day event is $75. Benefit concert

OKALOOSA ISLAND - A concert featuring the Moos Bros. will be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 24 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center for ages 21 and up. Proceeds will be used to support safety procedures and training in local schools. Tickets are $30; VIP tables, $100. For tickets, call 651-4006.
