Rock the Docks LIVE
DESTIN - Rock the Docks LIVE with a free public concert at 7 p.m. Saturdays at HarborWalk Village. Audience members can join house band Déjà Vu and sing with full lights and sound show.
DESTIN – Every Tuesday during the summer from 6-10 p.m. HarborWalk Village transforms into "The Big Easy" with floats, beads, the Village Brass Band, stilt walkers, jugglers and lots of excitement during the parade through the Village.
DESTIN - Wine World and Sweetwater host a fundraiser for the Emerald Coast Waterkeeper at 6 p.m. Aug. 14 at Wine World. Beer tasting is $5 and plates of fried goodness are $12.
Wednesday Night Concert Series
SANDESTIN – The Village of Baytowne Wharf presents Ocean Street from 7-9 p.m. Aug. 14 in the Events Plaza. Call 267-8186.
Red, White and Blue Celebration
DESTIN – The Red, White, and Blue Celebration honoring a local hero who goes above and beyond to better their community will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at HarborWalk Village. Enjoy live entertainment, free kid’s crafts and face painting, a WWII replica flyover and fireworks over the harbor. Call 424-0600.
Emerald Coast Theatre Company
SANDESTIN - Andy and Clyde have been long time partners until their friendship is tested with the competition for the title of "The Best Fisherman of the Emerald Coast" at 7 and 8 p.m. Aug. 15 at Baytowne Wharf. They recruit their crew from the audience and challenge each other at different spots around the Village.
DESTIN - American Legion Post 296, 311 Main Street, hosts Baseball Game Day with hamburgers, hot dogs and chips Aug. 10. Wear favorite team’s hat and shirt.
DESTIN - HendersonBeach State Parkhosts the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge staff and animal ambassadors from 11:30 a.m. to noon Aug. 15, weather permitting. Bring a camera for photo opportunities. Program included in the park admission fee. Call 837-7550.
FORT WALTON BEACH – The merchants of Downtown Fort Walton Beach will host an Art Walk from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 16 on U.S. 98. Local artists set up in front of every store, and there is food and live entertainment.
Fluid Surf Shop sponsors an outdoor surf movie after sunset on the corner of U.S. 98 and Ferry Road that features both vintage and new surfer movies, all family friendly and free to the public. Bring a chair or blanket.
