Beer Festival
DESTIN - The Fourth Annual Destin Beer Festival will take place from 2-5 p.m. Sept. 28 outside Chan's Wine World in the Paradise Key shopping center. There will be more than 300 beers to sample, culinary stations, VIP Tent and live entertainment. Proceeds will benefit Children in Crisis. BLUEWATER BAY - The 19th annual Oktoberfest and Arts & Crafts Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 28 at Winn Dixie Plaza on Hwy. 20 with live music, entertainment for adults and children, arts and crafts, soft drinks, bratwurst, hotdogs, baked chicken and beer. Haunted House
DESTIN - The Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge presents their Eighth Annual Haunted House at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk at 7 p.m. Oct. 4-5. Small children are not recommended. Admission is $9. Parking is free with the exception of October 4-5 due to the Seafood Festival.
Seafood Festival
DESTIN – The 35th annual Destin Seafood Festival opens from 4-10 p.m. Oct. 4 along the Destin Harbor Boardwalk with fresh local seafood, live music, artists, and more. Al Alvarado and street performers perform along the Village Promenade. On the West Village Stage, Pirate Pete and the Missing Fisherman have daily shows and the Emerald Coast Theater Company has an interactive children’s performance. Music Oct. 4 includes Village Brass Band at 3 p.m., Flash Flood at 5 p.m., Orphan Annie at 7:30 p.m. and fireworks and dance party at 9 p.m.
From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 5 music includes HarborWalk Village Songwriters Show, noon; Fred Domulot & Fusion, 2 p.m.; The Modern Eldorados, 4 p.m.; The Blenders, 6 p.m. BlackEyed Blonde, 8 p.m. and The Andy Velo Band, 10 p.m.
