Red, White and Blue Celebration
The Red, White and Blue Celebration at HarborWalk Village, a weekly honoring of a local hero, is held from 6-10 p.m. Thursdays. Enjoy live entertainment, free kid’s crafts and face painting, a WWII replica flyover and fireworks over the harbor at 9 p.m.

An opening reception for the Arts and Design Society's 15th Annual Photography and Digital Arts Show will be held from 6-8 p.m. Aug. 8 at 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. The show runs through Sept. 5.
Santa Rosa Beach artist and cartoonist, Mark Douglass, shows off his “serious side” in an exhibition of colorful acrylic paintings on display in the Calhoun Room at the Destin Library during the month of August.
Rock the Docks
Enjoy an open air free concert with the Continuum from 7-9 p.m. Aug. 9 on the main stage at HarborWalk Village, with live music at seven venues, clubs and restaurants during the evening. Concerts are held every Saturday during the summer.

During August, the Arts and Design Society, 17 First Street, SE in Fort Walton Beach, presents the art of the students in Thalia Newton's Crash Glass Mosaics classes in the studio windows facing First Street.
Fat Tuesday Parade
HarborWalk Village becomes “The Big Easy” at 7 p.m. every Tuesday with floats, beads and lots of swag, a performance by the Village Brass Band on the main stage, and a fire dancing show. Event is free.
Tuesday Night Movies
The Lighthouse Amphitheater at Shoreline Village in Destin hosts free family movies on Tuesday nights. Bring blankets and chairs. Food, drinks and snacks, even hamburgers wine and beer, can be bought before and during the movie just like any other theater. No outside food or drink allowed.
