Play That Funky Music
An opening reception for the Arts and Design Society’s “Play That Funky Music” Show will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 12 at 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. The exhibition features works in any medium, reflecting the influence of the artists’ favorite music. The show runs through Oct. 3. Call 244-1271.

Boardwalk Craft Beer Tour
“Hop” on board for the inaugural Boardwalk Beer Tour from 1-5 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Boardwalk on Okaloosa Island. Take the tour and sample more than 50 craft beers from around the world with live music and college football on throughout. Beer tour ticket holders will get discounts at the restaurants. The Friends Guild of the Destin Library, Inc. will sponsor a movie, “The Lunchbox,” at 4 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Library. The program is free and open to the public. Films are unrated and directed toward mature audiences. Seating will be limited to 30 on a first-come, first-served basis.
