Talk Like a Pirate Day
A festival of all things pirate includes live entertainment with Tom Mason & The Blue Buccaneers at 7 p.m., and kids’ interactive pirate shows and games from 7-10 p.m. Sept. 19 at HarborWalk Village. Tour the Pirate Mobile Museum and the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise and join Capt. Davy for pirate stories and a treasure hunt at 7 p.m.
Decorate a wagon and dress up your pet to join the wagon parade at 6:30 p.m. 1st place wagon wins four tickets to the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise and “booty” and 2nd place wagon receives two tickets to the Buccaneer Pirate Cruise. Pet costume winner receives a special pooch package.
Grab yer mateys and celebrate your inner pirate with a Pub Crawl through HarborWalk Village starting at 9 p.m.

Healing with Art
A local art show and sale begins Sept. 19 in the second floor atrium at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week for three months.
Hispanic Fest, a family-oriented, cultural and educational festival, will showcase Hispanic music, folkloric dances, arts and crafts, exhibits, and the flavors and aromas of the cuisine from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sept. 21 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island. Special appearances by non-Hispanic performers and dance groups will also take place. Proceeds from the event will benefit United for a Good Cause Inc.
