36th Annual Seafood Festival
The 36th Annual Destin Seafood Festival takes place from 4-10 p.m. Oct. 3; 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 4; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 5 at its original home on the Destin harbor. Enjoy a fireworks display over the harbor on Friday with free admission. Entertainment Friday includes the Village Brass Band, 3 p.m.; Sauce Boss, 5 p.m.; and Longreef, 8 p.m.
The Village Belles and the Village Brass Band take the stage at noon Oct. 4, followed by Flash Flood at 2, Jacob Mohr Band at 4, Modern Eldorados at 6 and Leah Seawright at 8 p.m.
On Sunday, The Village Belles and Village Brass Band begin at noon, with The Blenders at 2 p.m. and Fuzion Band at 4 p.m.
The Destin Seafood Festival is free and open to the public. Sponsorship opportunities are available for those who want to participate in preserving Destin’s heritage and the vitality of the Destin Seafood Festival. Donations are always accepted at the Festival soda and water booths as well as the Fisherman’s Tent hosted by the Destin Charter Boat Association at the Destin Fishing Fleet Marina.
