Wednesday Night Concert Series
Enjoy a free concert from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 1 in the Events Plaza at The Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin. Call 267-8186.
The local community is invited to The Other End Beer Garden at the harbor in Destin to celebrate its official Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening from 5:30-8 p.m. Oct. 2. There will be live music by Bo Adams, door prizes, The Other End pint glasses with purchase of a draft beer, and an exclusive local’s card to the first 25 attendees.
During October, the Arts and Design Society, 17 First Street, SE in Fort Walton Beach, presents the art of students in Sherry Cooler’s Story Box classes. Each clay box has its creator’s story carved into the side, as well as embellishments to enhance the story.
The 31st Northwest Florida Tri-County Fair Fine Arts Show is scheduled from 5-10 p.m. through Oct. 3 and 2-10 p.m. Oct. 4 at C.H. Bull Rigdon Fairgrounds and Recreation Complex, 1958 Lewis Turner Blvd. in Fort Walton Beach. Artworks in every medium will be on display; high school and middle school art will be a special feature.

Play That Funky Music
The Arts and Design Society’s “Play That Funky Music” show will be held through Oct. 3 at 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. The exhibition features works in any medium, reflecting the influence of the artists’ favorite music. Call 244-1271.
