ADSO Luncheon
Laura Destin and Tony Akers, co-owners of A Ceramic Studio and Hobby Shop in Valparaiso, will be the speakers at the ADSO Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. March 25 at the Art Center Gallery 17 First St. in Fort Walton Beach. The couple works in their shop with adults and children, creating fun and practical works of art with poured clay and paint. They also conduct Fused Glass workshops and hold after school classes for children. Cost of the luncheon, open to the public, is $12. Spring Break Concert
HarborWalk Village presents its annual spring break concerts at 7 p.m. March 28 with the Gable Bradley Band. Concerts are free. Call 424-0600.
Beer Festival
Wine World’s Second Annual Fort Walton Beach Beer Festival benefitting the Special Forces Association, Chapter 7, will be held from 1-4 p.m. March 28 in Uptown Station in Fort Walton Beach. The event will include 90+ unique craft beers, live music from Continuum and culinary stations from Buffalo Wild Wings, Burrito Del Sol, Mary’s Kitchen, Wine World and Winn Dixie. A silent auction and raffle will be held. Tickets can be purchased now for $5 each or five tickets for $20 at Wine World in Uptown Station. Easter Extravaganzoo
The second annual Easter Extravaganzoo will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 28 at the ECWR Zoological Park, 5262 Deer Springs Road in Crestview. Celebrate the season with arts and crafts, flower planting, a meet and greet with the Easter Bunny, and more. Guests will be able to decorate eggs for some of the zoo animals, and Easter egg hunts will be held at 11 a.m. for ages 8-12; 11:15 for ages 0-3; and 11:40 for ages 4-7. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own baskets and cameras. Admission is $8/adults, $5/children, and free for guests ages 2 and younger. Call 682-3949.
Starving Artists Sale
The Arts and Design Society hosts its first Starving Artists Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 28 at The Art Center, 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. Artists will sell their art and/or new or gently-used artist’s materials or books that they no longer need, and may include jewelry, ceramics, paintings, or whatever art the multi-talented group produces.

Disney Pixar in Concert

Star Gazing by the Shore
Volunteers from the Northwest Florida Astronomy Association will set up several telescopes for public viewing the sun and star clusters, planets, and galaxies and answer questions about the night sky from 4:15-10 p.m. April 17 at Henderson Beach State Park.The park will close at sunset which is 7:14 p.m. Come early and bring a picnic dinner to enjoy the sunset. Okaloosa Arts Fest
This free family-friendly event features artists and artwork from around the Emerald Coast April 18 at Destin Commons. In addition, there will be live entertainment on the stage and free family hands-on activities.
ArtWalk on the Harbor
HarborWalk Village becomes a mini art district as dozens of artists showcase their creative artwork ranging from traditional to contemporary art, jewelry, paintings, handcrafted items and more from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 19 at HarborWalk Village. Also, music on main stage. Held third Sunday of each month.
Joffrey Ballet
The Merchants of Seaside will host the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group for a debut performance at 6:30 p.m. May 2 in the Seaside Amphitheater. There is no admission to attend the performance.
Groovin’ On The Green
The Carillon Beach Institute presents a free concert with The Rowdies from 7-9 p.m. May 24 at the Village Green. Food and beverage vendors will be on site.
