Mary Poppins

Spring Break Concert

Beer Festival

Wine World’s Second Annual Fort Walton Beach Beer Festival benefitting the Special Forces Association, Chapter 7, will be held from 1-4 p.m. March 28 in Uptown Station in Fort Walton Beach. The event will include 90+ unique craft beers, live music from Continuum and culinary stations from Buffalo Wild Wings, Burrito Del Sol, Mary’s Kitchen, Wine World and Winn Dixie. A silent auction and raffle will be held. Tickets can be purchased now for $5 each or five tickets for $20 at Wine World in Uptown Station. Starving Artists Sale

The Arts and Design Society hosts its first Starving Artists Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 28 at The Art Center, 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. Artists will sell their art and/or new or gently-used artist’s materials or books that they no longer need, and may include jewelry, ceramics, paintings, or whatever art the multi-talented group produces.

BoJamz

The Second Annual BoJamz to be held from 1-10 p.m. March 29 at Boshamps Oyster House, 414 Harbor Blvd. in Destin, is a music festival and silent auction aimed at bringing the community together to raise money for Planting Peace, a NPO that was founded by Destin native, Aaron Jackson in 2004. There will be a $10 (suggested donation) entry fee. Line-up includes Kyle LaMonica, Theodore Von of Von Brain, Dismal Creek, Hotel Oscar, Continuum and Moon Hooch.

Morning Melodies

Visitors and animals alike are in for a musical treat beginning at 9:30 a.m. March 30 at Gulfarium on Okaloosa Island. Five student ensembles ranging from brass to strings will take turns playing the classics alongside the animal habitats. Regular admission rates apply. Student Art Show

The Arts and Design Society will host the annual Van Porter Student Art Show March 31-April 10 at 17 First Street, SE, in Fort Walton Beach.
