Disney Pixar in Concert brings Sinfonia Gulf Coast season to an animated finale

Sinfonia Gulf Coast will bring its main stage concert season to an animated finale at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Emerald Coast Convention Center with Disney Pixar in Concert.

From the “Toy Story” trilogy, “Cars,” “Finding Nemo,” “A Bug’s Life,” to “The Incredibles” and “UP,” Pixar has forever impacted filmmaking and given audiences of all ages some of the most beloved characters in cinematic history. The concert will include Sinfonia Gulf Coast performing all of the memorable scores from each of Pixar’s 13 movies with visually stunning clips, including their latest release “Brave,” projected onto a large screen mounted above the orchestra.

“This concert is most definitely a family-friendly event,” said Sinfonia Gulf Coast Music Director Demetrius Fuller. “We are starting slightly earlier at 7 p.m. and will have an interactive photo booth where families and patrons can capture their memories of this exciting and unique cultural experience. There will be a special Kids Bar in the lobby and the concert will be the perfect blend of visuals and music from all of these amazing films. Presenting Disney Pixar in Concert very much aligns with Sinfonia’s mission to bring the widest demographic of patrons and children into the concert hall experience.”

Tickets range from $29.50-$42.50 and can be purchased online or at the box office. Reduced price tickets for students and active duty military must be purchased by calling the box office.
