Sand Spurs Club

Shades of Blue perform a smooth blend of jazz/blues along with their signature pop songs and selections from the ‘70s at the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s 20th Annual Concerts in the Village at 7 p.m. May 21 in the Dugas Pavilion at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, 4323 Commons Drive West in Destin. Club L.A.

Tremonti, currently touring in support of their sophomore album Cauterize, will perform May 23 at Club L.A. in Destin. The band includes Mark Tremonti on vocals/guitars, Eric Friedman on guitars, and Garrett Whitlock on drums.

Memorial Day Concert

Kick-off summer with free concerts and fun from 4-10 p.m. May 23 and 24 at HarborWalk Village in Destin. The Village Belles and Tobacco Road Band perform Saturday and Flash Flood and Departure: The Journey Tribute Band perform Sunday. Fireworks follow Sunday concert at 9 p.m.

Fat Tuesday Parade

HarborWalk Village transforms into the "Big Easy" from 6-9 p.m. Tuesdays beginning May 26 with a Mardi Gras parade through the harbor. Street Party starts at 6 p.m. and parade rolls after sunset.Enjoy floats, colorful costumes, sky-high stilt walkers, street performers, beads, Moonpies and more during this free parade. Red, White and Blue Celebration

A weekly honoring of a local hero will be held at 7 p.m. Thursdays beginning May 28 at HarborWalk Village honoring the Boys & Girls Club of the Emerald Coast. The celebrations highlight the efforts of people who go above and beyond to better their community. Enjoy live entertainment, free kid’s crafts, face painting, and a vintage WWII aircraft flyover.
