Greek Festival

The 24th Annual Greek Festival will be held from 4-9 p.m. Sept. 4; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 5; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Emerald Coast Conference Center on Okaloosa Island. Taste the various Greek foods, desserts, and drinks being served up throughout the festival. Enjoy music by the Kosta Kastanis Band and local Greek dancers as they perform. Local and national vendors will sell crafts and goods.

Wednesday Night Concert Series

Listen to a free concert with the music of Caitlyn Smith from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 2 in the Events Plaza at Baytowne Wharf in Sandestin.

Red, White and Blue Celebration

Local service dogs will be honored at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 at HarborWalk Village. Enjoy music, free kid’s activities, a WWII vintage air show and a fireworks finale over the harbor at 9 p.m.

Americana Under The Stars

Bring a chair and a beverage to enjoy the music of O'Don Piano at 7 p.m. Sept. 3 in the amphitheater at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Free admission into park and a suggested donation of $5 goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill.

ADSO window display

During September, The Arts and Design Society presents the works of clay artist Sherry Cooler and her ADSO students, displaying their works from her Butterfly Box and Clay & Nails classes, in studio windows that face First Street in Fort Walton Beach.

Baytowne Art Walk

Stroll the streets, enjoy live music and browse a variety of local art from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 4-6 at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Entertainment includes Kyle Lamonica, 5-7:30 p.m. Sept. 4; Ben Loftin, 7:30-10 p.m. Sept. 4; Chris Alvarado, 5-7:30 p.m. Sept. 5; Robby Walton, 7:30-10 p.m. Sept. 5; and a live auction and Matt McCarty Quintet featuring Gina Walker Sept. 6.

Rock'n Bingo

Play Rock'n Bingo from 7-9 p.m. Mondays at Landshark's Pizza or from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Mama Sherry's Pizza & Wings.

Groovin’ On The Green

The Carillon Beach Institute presents a free concert with the Natalie Reynolds Band from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Village Green. Food and beverage vendors will be on site.

Act4Murder

Gallery show: Black & White

Opening reception for the Arts and Design Society's Black & White Show will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 11 at the Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street SE in Fort Walton Beach. Bluegrass at the Beach

Blue Highway (headliner), The Hillbenders, Willie Sugarcapps, Run Boy Run, Moore Brothers Band, Dread Clampitt, and Dismal Creek perform during a one day event from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 12 at The Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village, 4323 Commons Dr. West in Destin. Doors open at 10 a.m. Tickets are $55/general admission, $45/MKAF members and children under 12 are free. Ticket prices increase day of event.

Nighttime Educational Beach Walks

Learn about sea turtles, their nesting habits and other wildlife along the beaches of Okaloosa Island and Destin at 8 p.m. Monday and Wednesdays through November. Limited to 20 people (ages 6 and older) per walk. The walks are free and include a 30-minute orientation. Reservations are required and may be made at 865-0868 or ECTurtleWatch@gmail.com.
