The three-day Labor Day weekend can be a great opportunity to spend time with the family, go to the beach or have backyard barbecues — and enjoy great music and fireworks.

Baytowne Art Walk: Stroll the streets, enjoy live music and browse a variety of local art from 5-10 p.m. Sept. 4-6 at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Entertainment includes Kyle Lamonica, 5-7:30 p.m. Sept. 4; Ben Loftin, 7:30-10 p.m. Sept. 4; Chris Alvarado, 5-7:30 p.m. Sept. 5; Robby Walton, 7:30-10 p.m. Sept. 5; and a live auction and Matt McCarty Quintet featuring Gina Walker Sept. 6.

Labor Day Weekend Concert in Seaside: Come to the Seaside Amphitheater for a Seaside Labor Day Weekend concert with Ryan Kinder at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5. Bring blankets and low back chairs and pick up a picnic dinner at one of the many Seaside merchants. Free and open to the public.

Labor Day in Alys Beach: Celebrate Labor Day with live music from The Will Tucker Band from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Amphitheatre in Alys Beach. Fireworks follow. Food and beverages available for purchase from Piper’s.

Labor Day Concert Celebration: Summer 2015 will end with a weekend of family activities and free concerts from 4-10 p.m. Sept. 5 and 6 at HarborWalk Village. The Springs perform Saturday and The Village Belles and LongReef take the stage Sunday, followed by fireworks over the harbor.

Labor Day Weekend Concert: Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation's Seventh Annual Labor Day Weekend Concert will feature the Heather Hayes Experience from 7-9 p.m. Sept. 6 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. Entrance opens at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $26/general admission, $21/MKAF members and children under 12 free. VIP tables available for sale at 650-2226.

Labor Day Classical Pops: Close out the summer season when Seaside presents a classical/pops music performance at 6 p.m. Sept. 7 in the Seaside Amphitheater.
