Santa Claus is Coming to Town

Santa makes his grand entrance to the Destin harbor at the Christmas season kick off from 12-4 p.m. Nov. 27 at HarborWalk Village. Kids will enjoy free activities and can visit with Santa Claus. The event is free and open to the public.

"Here comes Santa Claus, here comes Santa Claus,

Right down Santa Claus Lane."

Christmas Parade

Bass Pro Shops will kick off its annual Toys for Tots Campaign Nov. 14 with U.S. Marines accompanying Santa Claus in the Christmas Parade at 4:30 p.m. in Destin Commons. Parade will end at Bass Pro Shops where Santa will officially open Santa’s Wonderland. Free refreshments and giveaways for kids while supplies last.

Santa’s Holiday Arrival

It’s the holiday time of year so bring the entire family to Destin Commons to watch Santa arrive in style from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 20. At 7:45, join in the fun to watch Santa’s arrival with a festive holiday celebration parade down Main Street, the official lighting of the Center’s spectacular 50’ Christmas tree, and a dazzling fireworks finale.

The parade will feature Santa greeting spectators in a Bass Pro holiday decorated boat, along with the Choctaw High School Style Marchers and other performances from local bands, dance and cheer groups. Look for your chance to win a VIP spot in Santa’s boat in the parade coming soon on Facebook.

Sinfonia Gulf Coast’s quartet performs favorite songs of the season on stage in Center Plaza and families will have the opportunity to have their photo made with Rudolph and Frosty in front of the tree. Face painting and holiday crafts will also be on hand.

Here Comes Santa Claus

Ring in the holidays Nov. 27 and 28 with a free Here Comes Santa Claus Weekend at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, including the Village tree lighting, carriage rides and more. Watch Polar Express under the stars beginning at 6 p.m. Nov. 27.

Kids activities and live music take place Nov. 28 beginning with Santa Claus arrival at 6 p.m. Fireworks follow. And don't forget to snap a photo with Santa until 9 p.m.
