The Destin Log

The Destin Pooch Palooza, a festival for dogs and their families and friends, will be held from 1-3 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Destin Dog Park on Indian Bayou Trail. There will be vendor booths, food trucks, arts and crafts, dog demonstrations and activities, such as a dog fashion show with prizes. No entry fees. Donations accepted.

Fall Wine Walkabout

Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Silver Shells Resort in Destin will host its Third Annual Fall Wine Walkabout to benefit Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation’s 20th anniversary season from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Nov. 12 in the East Bar and Courtyard. Michael J Thomas will perform along with soul stirring artists Cheryl Jones and Company. Tickets are $50/person or $40/MKAF members and available at www.MattieKellyArtsFoundation.org.

Americana Under The Stars

Bring a chair and a beverage to enjoy the music of Michael Jordan at 7 p.m. Nov. 12 in the amphitheater at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Free admission into park and a suggested donation of $5 goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill.

Sinfonia Gala

The Sinfonia 10th Anniversary Gala Event will be held at 8 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Emerald Coast Convention Center on Okaloosa Island featuring the star of stage, screen and TV, Kristin Chenoweth. Single and table tickets for the Gala range from $49.50 to $300. A limited inventory of tables of 10 at $1,250 and $3,000, are still available for purchase. Sparkling Wine and Holiday Lights

Stroll streets lined with twinkling lights and greenery, sip champagne and sample featured menu items from various Village restaurants from 5-7 p.m. Nov. 14 at The Village of Baytowne Wharf. Cost is $40/advance and $50/at the door. Enjoy a sneak peek of the Village tree lighting and holiday entertainment throughout the Village. ArtWalk on the Harbor

HarborWalk Village becomes a mini art district as dozens of artists showcase their creative artwork ranging from traditional to contemporary art, jewelry, paintings, handcrafted items and more from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 15 at HarborWalk Village. Also, music on main stage. Held third Sunday of each month.

Independent Film Series

The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will sponsor a movie, "Words & Pictures," a witty romantic drama, at 3 p.m. Nov. 17 at the Destin Library. The program is free and open to the public. Films are unrated and directed toward mature audiences.

Art Show

Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast Arts in Medicine program will host an art show and sale featuring the works of 15 members of the Local Color Artists Club based in Okaloosa County. The exhibit will feature a variety of works and mediums including oils, pastels, acrylics, watercolors, plein air, photography and metal. The exhibit runs through Dec. 30 in the hospital's 2nd Floor Atrium Gallery.
