ADSO window display
During March, The Arts and Design Society presents the works of award-winning artist Pam Folse, who will display her fine works in oil, in its studio windows that face First Street in Fort Walton Beach.
Greek Luncheon
Saints Markella & Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church will host a Greek Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. March 10 at the church, Hwy. 98 and Bryn Mawr Boulevard. Cost is $9; dine or carry out. Call 244-0822. Pastries will be for sale at additional cost. Event continues until March 31.
Americana Under The Stars
Bring a chair and a beverage to enjoy music with Lucky Mud at 7 p.m. March 10 in the amphitheater at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Free admission into park and a suggested donation of $5 goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill.

Gala and golf tournament
The Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center (ECCAC) annual signature Black Tie & Board Shorts Gala at 5:30 p.m. March 12 at Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa. Guests will enjoy dinner, dancing and entertainment; live and silent auctions; and a cork wine pull. The black tie optional fundraiser benefits children by providing services to help identify, treat and support them in abusive situations. The annual Kieran May Golf Tournament will take place March 13 at Kelly Plantation Golf Club with a noon tee-time. Tournament cost is $400, which includes two tickets to the Gala. Independent Film Series
The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will sponsor a movie, "Kill the Messenger," at 3 p.m. March 15 at the Destin Library. The program is free and open to the public. Directed toward a mature audience.

Alys Beach Spring Concerts
Bring a blanket or your favorite chair and enjoy a free concert with Fearless Heights from 6-8 p.m. March 16 at the Alys Beach Amphitheater. Free and open to the public.
Theatrical performance
The Destin Library will host a one-man two-act play, "A Life of Sorrow: The Life and times of Carter Stanley," by Gary Reid at 2 p.m. March 18. The performance is free and open to the public. Call 837-8572.
Tequila and Taco Fest
The third annual Tequila and Taco Fest full of tequila tastings, contests, live music and tacos of all kinds will be held from 1-4 p.m. March 19 at HarborWalk Village. Experience over 20 varieties of tequila paired with fish, shrimp, beef and authentic Latin tacos. Proceeds benefit The Salvation Army USA and is sponsored by Crab Island Cantina and Sauza Tequila. Must be 21.
Act4Murder

Kite Festival
Ring in Spring at Kitty Hawk Kites annual free Fly Into Spring Kite Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 2 and 3 at The Boardwalk at Okaloosa Island. Experience 25- to 100-foot larger-than-life show kites as they fly high above the shoreline. Also features professional stunt kite flying, demonstrations and lessons, and a family fun fly that is perfect for kite enthusiasts of all ages. Bring a kite and join the fun. At 2 p.m. both days, there will be a Candy Drop for kids of all ages.
Rock'n Bingo
Play Rock'n Bingo from 7-9 p.m. Tuesdays at Landshark's Pizza or from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Mama Sherry's Pizza & Wings.
Locals Night Out
Ruth's Chris Steakhouse Destin presents Locals Night Out with the music of Jones & Company from 6-9 p.m. every Wednesday in the Courtyard Bar.
