Americana Under The Stars
Bring a chair and a beverage to enjoy music with Well Worn Soles at 7 p.m. March 31 in the amphitheater at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. Free admission into park and a suggested donation of $5 goes to the Friends of Topsail Hill.
Pirate Dinner & Movie

Kite Festival
Ring in Spring at Kitty Hawk Kites annual free Fly Into Spring Kite Festival from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 2 and 3 at The Boardwalk at Okaloosa Island. Experience 25- to 100-foot larger-than-life show kites as they fly high above the shoreline. Also features professional stunt kite flying, demonstrations and lessons, and a family fun fly that is perfect for kite enthusiasts of all ages. Bring a kite and join the fun. At 2 p.m. both days, there will be a Candy Drop for kids of all ages.
Gem and Mineral Show
ADSO will host The Playground Gem and Mineral Society's Gem and Mineral Show from April 5-15. The reception will be from 6-8 p.m. April 8 at 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach. The show will highlight the activities of the club, as well as some of the wonders of nature. Admission to the reception and the gallery is free and open to the public.
ABBAFAB
Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation's kick off concert for the 21st annual Concerts in the Village is at 7 p.m. April 9 at the Dugas Pvilions in the Mattie kelly Cultural Arts Village, 4323 Commons Drive West in Destin. Independent Film Series
The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will sponsor a movie, "Beasts of the Southern Wild," a drama/fantasy, at 3 p.m. April 19 at the Destin Library. The program is free and open to the public. Directed toward a mature audience.
Photography/Digital Arts Exhibition
Opening reception for the Arts and Design Society's 17th Annual Photography and Digital Arts Show will be from 6-8 p.m. April 22, from 6 pm to 8 pm. at 17 First Street, SE, in Fort Walton Beach. The show begins April 19 and runs through May 20. Gallery hours are 12-4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 1-4 p.m. Saturday. Admission to the reception and the gallery is free and open to the public.
