Local fun this week in Destin includes a dinner theater performance, a ribbon cutting and a chance to see the big trucks.

1. Act4Murder

Act4Murder presents “Redneck Rivalry” at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 3 at La Paz, 950 Gulf Shore Drive in Destin. Seating begins at 7 p.m. Price is $40/person. Make reservations at www.act4murder.com or call 862-2885.

2. Open House

The community is invited to the open house and ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. Aug. 4 for Sacred Heart Health System’s newest outpatient center at The Market Shops, 9375 Emerald Coast Parkway West at the entrance to Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

3. Big Truck Day

All ages can see the trucks parked in the parking lot at the Destin Community Center from 9-11 a.m. Aug. 5. No charge. See the utility trucks, dump trucks, firetrucks, power trucks, military trucks and more.
