Audition: Littlefield at NWFSC
Northwest Florida State College will hold auditions for the original play, Littlefield, by local playwright, Don Goodrum, on Saturday Aug. 27, in the Sprint Theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center in Niceville. Sign-in starts at 1:30 p.m. and auditions start at 2 p.m. Prepare a one minute comic monologue. Call to Artists: 3-D Show
The Arts and Design Society is calling all artists to participate in their upcoming art competition, "3-D" Show, open to all artists. Artwork, in any theme, must be 3-dimensional, either free-standing or wall-hung. Cash awards.

Auditions: Stage Crafters
Auditions will be held for the Stage Crafters last production of the season, "9 to 5 the Musical," Aug. 29 and 30 at the Stage Crafters warehouse, 40 Robinwood Dr. SW in Fort Walton Beach. Call to Artists: Festival of the Arts
The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) is now accepting applications for the Adult Collaborative Art Exhibit component of the 21st annual Festival of the Arts, Oct. 29-30, at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin.
This exhibit showcases the work of seasoned and emerging adult artists and local student artists competing for the $600 McIlroy Awards given in honor of the late Patricia McIlroy, Destin’s first First Lady and an MKAF advocate and patron.
Artwork should be of an artistic caliber associated with a juried fine art show. Artists in the Adult Collaborative Exhibit can display and/or sell up to three pieces of artwork.
The competition is open to the first 25 eligible applicants. The entry fee is $30 per person for up to three pieces of art. Application deadline is Sept. 15. To receive an application, contact Deb Nissley at the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation at 850-650-2226.
Call to Artists: Fine Arts Show
The Arts and Design Society is calling all artists to participate in the upcoming 33rd Northwest Florida Fair Fine Arts Show Sept. 27-Oct. 1 at C.H. Bull Rigdon Fairgrounds and Recreation Complex. Open to all artists, in any medium. Artists must turn in works for the show on Friday, Sept. 23, 12-5 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 24, 9 a.m. to noon.
Entry fee for adults is $25/up to 5 pieces; high school and middle school students, $2/piece, up to 5 pieces.
