This is one of the best weekends of the year in Destin with so much going on to enjoy. The Seafood Festival (above), the Destin Fishing Rodeo and a beer festival will keep you busy all weekend. Special to The Log

1. Destin Seafood Festival

Enjoy fresh local seafood, live music, artists and more at the 38th annual Destin Seafood Festival place from 4-10 p.m. Sept. 30, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Oct. 1 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Admission is free and open to the public. Donations are accepted.

2. 30A Craft Beer & Spirits Festival

Formerly known as The Destin Beer Festival, this highly anticipated event has a new home in Gulf Place Town Center on 30A in Santa Rosa Beach Sept. 30 and Oct. 1. The festival features the tasting of more than 100 craft beers and spirits, sampling of foods provided by local restaurants and live entertainment. Proceeds benefit the Seaside School Foundation

3. Destin Fishing Rodeo

The 68th Destin Fishing Rodeo is the ultimate fishing tournament for saltwater anglers of all ages. The rodeo lasts through the entire month of October and is open to private and charter fishing boats and is free to anglers who fish aboard boats registered in the Destin Fishing Rodeo. Weigh-ins are open to the public everyday on the docks at AJ’s Seafood & Oyster Bar from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
