Having fun at last year's Pumpkinpalooza at HarborWalk Village.

1. Pumpkinpalooza

HarborWalk Village will come alive for Halloween on Saturday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Oct. 30. Pumpkinpalooza doesn’t leave anyone out as Saturday hosts a live concert and adult costume contest from 7-9 p.m. followed by fireworks. Sunday it’s time to bring out the kids. Family events include a kids and pets costume contest, arts and crafts, and trick-or-treating beginning at 2 p.m.

2. Spooktacular BooLu's

The free fun at the second annual Spooktacular BooLu's Fun Family event kicks off at 3 p.m. Oct. 29 at Lulu's in Destin with pumpkin painting, trunk or treat, arts and crafts, movie showing of "Beetlejuice" and much more. Bring your little goblins dressed in costume for the contest. Register by 5 p.m.

3. Halloween on the BOOlevard

Children are invited to dress in their ghoulish best and trick-or-treat in the Town Center of Grand Boulevard at Sandestin from 4-7 p.m. Oct. 31. Visit merchants for Halloween treats and enjoy an amusingly spooky, live storytelling performance by characters from the Emerald Coast Theatre Company at 5:30 p.m. in Grand Park. Visit the whimsical display of Cottage for Kids, a unique event benefiting Children’s Volunteer Health Network for a special, ghostly gift. Event is free and open to the public.
