Wednesday Night Concert Series

Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy a free concert under the stars with Heritage from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Events Plaza in Baytowne Wharf.

Pink Party

Brotula’s Seafood House & Steamer and Jackacudas Seafood + Sushi in Destin invite the community, loyal patrons and guests to the Pink Party from 6-9 p.m. Oct. 27 at Jackacudas in HarborWalk Village. All proceeds will go to Carrie Bair, a tenured employee and pivotal part of the of Jackacudas family recently diagnosed with stage 1 Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS). Pastel Society Exhibition

The Pastel Society of North Florida will have their National Juried Exhibition through Nov. 18 at the Mattie Kelly Fine Art Galleries at Northwest Florida State College.

Mayhem at the Monster Bash

The Halloween costume party murder mystery by Act4 Murder will be presented at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 at La Paz, 950 Gulf Shore Drive in Destin with seating at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $45. Fish the Days, Rock the Nights

After fishing at the rodeo, enjoy free live music with Emerald Gold at HarborWalk Village at 7 p.m. Oct. 29. A fireworks celebration over the harbor at 9 p.m. plus a fire spinning show by Just Add Water ends the night.

Festival of the Arts

Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation presents the 21st annual Festival of the Arts from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 29 and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village in Destin. One of the Southeast’s premier festivals, the event showcases the original artwork of more than 100 artists from across the U.S. who will compete for $10,000 in cash prizes. Festival features include a food bistro, wine and beer garden, live music, art activities for kids, souvenir posters and T-shirts, art drawing and more. Free shuttle service and parking is also available. Admission is free to MKAF members and children 12 and under, and $5 for adult/non-members.

Community Hallelujah Bash

First Baptist Church, 201 Beach Drive in Destin, will host its free community event Oct. 30. There will be trunk and treat, inflatables and games. Bring your friends and family. Call 837-6515.

ADSO window display

During October, The Arts and Design Society presents the works of award-winning artist Mike Lewis in the studio windows at The Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street SE in Fort Walton Beach.

Life's a Beach Show exhibition

The Arts and Design Society's exhibition of the Life's a Beach Publications' annual cover competition featuring colorful paintings reflecting the beach environment will run through Nov. 4 at 17 First Street in Fort Walton Beach.
