Bourbon at the Bay

Pastel Society Exhibition
The Pastel Society of North Florida will have their National Juried Exhibition through Nov. 18 at the Mattie Kelly Fine Art Galleries at NWFSC.
The Nutcracker
The Northwest Florida Ballet presents the 37th annual production of The Nutcracker at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 18 and 19 and 2:30 p.m. Nov. 20 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center. This season's production also includes the debut of the Northwest Florida Ballet Symphony Orchestra led by David Ott. Box office priced tickets are $38/adults and $18/children 12 and under. Art exhibit at Library
The Destin Library will showcase the work of local artist Linda Kernick through Nov. 30. The exhibit will highlight 17 pieces of the artist’s acrylic work on canvas or paper. Kernick is a mixed media artist who has been an active member of the Okaloosa, Walton and Pensacola area art community for over 25 years. She teaches courses at the Art and Design Society and HH Art Gallery in Fort Walton Beach.

During November, The Arts and Design Society presents the works of award-winning artist Marcy Eady, who turns out remarkable works in clay, in acrylic, and in portraits, all usually impressionistic. See the art in the studio windows at The Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street, SE, in Fort Walton Beach.
Call for Entries to Digital Graffiti
The Alys Foundation has announced the Call for Entries for the annual Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach to be held May 19-21, 2017. Coinciding with the festival’s 10th anniversary, artists worldwide are invited to submit original works of digital art to be showcased in the juried festival. Holiday Pops
The Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra's 30th Season continues with the annual Holiday Pops concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 9 in the Mainstage Theater of the Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center in Niceville. Ring in the season with all your holiday favorites as the NFSO is joined by the Northwest Florida Symphony Chorale, NWF State College Madrigal Singers and Belle Voci Women's Ensemble. Tickets are $25 and $18 with NWFSC students eligible for one free ticket on a space available basis.
Smooth Jazz and Jingle Bells
Tickets are on sale for "A Peter White Christmas," the annual smooth jazz holiday show set for 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at NWFSC in Niceville. Independent Film Series
The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will sponsor a movie drama/biography, "Shine," at 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Destin Library. The program is free and open to the public. Directed toward a mature audience.

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse Destin presents Locals Night Out with the music of Jones & Company from 6-9 p.m. every Wednesday in the Courtyard Bar.
