Lights will come on all over the Panhandle this weekend, especially these at Geek Lights in Bluewater Bay.

1. Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

The 30th annual Christmas Tree Lighting, hosted by the city of Destin, will be held at 6 p.m. Dec. 1 at the Destin Community Center. This will be an outdoor event for the entire family with a visit from Santa Claus. There will be entertainment from local choruses and musical groups with refreshments served after the lighting of the tree. Donations of canned food will be collected for families in need. 2. 12 Nights of Lights

Enjoy a festive light show every Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday at 6, 7 and 8 p.m. Dec. 2-30 in the Events Plaza at The Village of Baytowne Wharf.

3.Geek Lights on the Corner

The Christmas lights and music show performances will be held through Jan. 1 at the corner of Bluewater Boulevard and Antiqua Way in Bluewater Bay. Shows begin on the hour and half hour starting at 6 p.m. with the last show starting at 9:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, and 10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
