Call for Entries to Digital Graffiti

The Alys Foundation has announced the call for entries for the annual Digital Graffiti at Alys Beach to be held May 19-21, 2017. Coinciding with the festival's 10th anniversary, artists worldwide are invited to submit original works of digital art to be showcased in the juried festival. Artists interested in submitting can find criteria and instructions at www.digitalgraffiti.com/callforentries/. The deadline to submit is Feb. 1, 2017. Sinfonia Benefit

Tour of Homes

St. Agatha's Episcopal Church will hold a Tour of Homes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 3 in DeFuniak Springs to preserve their three historic properties on Circle Drive. Admission is $25. Tickets on day of tour are on sale at The Parish House, 150 Circle Drive. A tour guide will be available there. Breakfast cooked to order will be served from 7-10 a.m. for $7.50. Dig In! Holiday Brunch

Trees Destin recently announced they will host the Dig In! Holiday Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Destin Bay House. Proceeds will benefit the local non-profit that is dedicated to improving the Emerald Coast's tree canopy and enhancing the area's beauty through planting, conservation and education. Tickets are $30 each and $10 for children 10 years of age or younger. Live entertainment will be provided along with a full brunch buffet, plus a silent auction.

Double Divas

The Med-Spa of Destin & Sandestin and Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Dr. Steven Clark will host the stars of the reality show “Double Divas” from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 4 at 400 Audubon Drive in Miramar Beach for custom fittings with reality stars Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Decker.

ADSO window display

During December, The Arts and Design Society presents the works of award-winning artist Marcy Eady, who turns out works in clay, acrylic and portraits, usually impressionistic. See the art in the studio windows at The Art Center Gallery, 17 First Street SE in Fort Walton Beach.

Jazz Concert

The Northwest Florida State College Jazz Ensemble presents its fall concert at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13 in the Mainstage Theater of the Mattie Kelly Arts Center at the college's Niceville campus. Admission is free with no ticket required. Theater doors open at 7 p.m. The ensemble will perform a variety of traditional and new jazz favorites as well as holiday selections.

Independent Film Series

The Friends Guild of the Destin Library will sponsor a showing of the movie drama/biography "Shine" at 3 p.m. Dec. 13 at the Destin Library. The program is free and open to the public. Directed toward a mature audience.

Locals Night Out

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse Destin presents Locals Night Out with the music of Jones & Company from 6-9 p.m. every Wednesday in the Courtyard Bar.
