The Stoked Show
Hypnotic comedy, hilarious impersonations and toe-tapping sing-along hits with audience participation can be seen at 2 and 8 p.m. through May 28, Wednesdays through Saturdays, at the Bart Rockett Theater at HarborWalk Village. Show is free.
Retro Time Warp
The Arts and Design Society will host its “Retro Time Warp” Show, featuring works in any medium reflective of the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s, from March 7-31 at the Art Center, 17 First Street, SE, in Fort Walton Beach. Wednesday Night Concert Series
Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy a free concert under the stars with Heritage from 7-9 p.m. March 8 in the Events Plaza in Baytowne Wharf.
Spamalot
Stage Crafters 45th season begins with “Spamalot," a hit musical lovingly ripped off from the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Performances will be held March 10-12 and 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at Fort Walton Beach Civic Auditorium, 107 Miracle Strip Parkway. Tequila and Taco Fest
Fiesta like there is no mañana beginning at 1 p.m. March 11 at HarborWalk Village. Proceeds benefit The Salvation Army and is sponsored by Crab Island Cantina and Sauza Tequila. General admission/$35 with 8 drink tickets for tequila tastings; under 21-Non-drinker/$20; Military-First Responders/$30 with 8 drink tickets for tequila tastings; VIP/$60 with 12 drink tickets for tequila tastings. Fundraising cookout
The Arts and Design Society has scheduled a cookout in its newly-expanded courtyard at 11 a.m. March 11. Twelve dollars covers the price of a hamburger or hotdog, a beverage, chips, and cookies. Live music provided by singer/guitarist Joe Weiss. Tickets are available in advance at the ADSO Art Center, 17 First St. in Fort Walton Beach, or on the day of the cookout. Proceeds will go toward the development of the courtyard into a space for functions and classes. In case of rain, seating will be in the Gallery.
Throttle Poker Run
The 2017 PAWS on the Throttle Poker Run will be held March 12 along Hwy. 98, Route 331 and Hwy. 20. The final destination is On the Edge Bar and Grill in Niceville. Cost is $15 per hand. Prizes will be awarded at 3 p.m. for the best and worst hands. There also will be a 50/50 raffle for prizes. Event T-shirts are $20. Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society, 752 Lovejoy Road in Fort Walton Beach. Call 243-1525. ext. 20. Proceeds go toward a new spay/neuter mobile surgical unit.
