1. Lionfish Documentary

The Emerald Coast Reef Association will host the free world premiere of a Skyline Films Lionfish documentary, “Reef Assassin,” at 7 p.m. May 19 at Northwest Florida State College Student Services, first floor. Many locals appear in the documentary. Young children requested to not attend.

2. Tailgates Down

The Emerald Coast Parrot Head Club presents “Tailgates Down … Phriends All Around” from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 20 at the Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation, 4323 Commons Dr. W in Destin. 3. Fishing History

The Destin History & Fishing Museum has set up a temporary exhibit “Talking Smack” that will run until Aug. 31. The exhibit details the two-masted schooners that formed the red snapper fishing fleets in the Northwest Florida waterfronts and learn about early red snapper fishing.
