Theresia McInnis, a retired teacher and current award-winning artist, prefers the medium of watercolor because, she says, “All the wonderfully luminescent colors are displayed when allowed to blend on the paper. Watercolor allows me to speak with a whisper with gentle and delicate strokes or demand attention with bold rich and dramatic tones.”
Her painting, “Masked Venice,” was voted by the Arts and Design Society members as the cover art for ADSO’s 2018 calendar.
