Sinfonia Gulf Coast, led by Music and Artistic Director Demetrius Fuller, presents a “supreme” way to celebrate the season.

The second offering of the season is “A Rockin’ Holiday” with Mary Wilson of the Supremes at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 15 at Destiny Worship Center, 122 Poinciana Blvd. in Miramar Beach.

Wilson returns to the Sinfonia Gulf Coast stage to bring her larger-than-life vocals and amazing energy in what promises to be a rockin’ holiday concert. This Motown legend, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and multiple award-winning artist will have you dancing in your seats. Travel with Mary Wilson on a musical journey to hear both the sensational songs that made her famous as well as a selection of her favorite holiday melodies.

Born in Mississippi in 1944, Wilson got her big break before even finishing high school when Motown Records signed her, along with friends Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, as The Supremes. In no time the trio became Motown legends.

After the group finally scored a Top 40 hit in 1963 with "When the Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes," they began their ascent to the top of the music world. Over the next several years, they churned out a seemingly endless string of enduring singles including "Baby Love," "Come See About Me," and "Stop In the Name of Love." Throughout the 1960s heyday of the Motown era, The Supremes dominated radio play and the Billboard charts, becoming one of America's most beloved musical acts. Wilson went on to enjoy a successful solo career after the group disbanded in 1977 and continues to perform to sold-out houses today.

"Sinfonia is thrilled to welcome back Mary Wilson of the Supremes to the Sinfonia stage,” said Fuller. “Ms. Wilson is an icon in the musical world and continues to share her passion, energy and incredible voice with the world. You don’t want to miss this performance.”

Tickets for this concert range from $32.50 to $55 per person. Individual tickets and season subscriptions are on sale for all performances at SinfoniaGulfCoast.org or call 850-460-8800.
