1. Kids Christmas Crafts

Children ages 4-12, along with their parents, are invited to stop by the Destin Library from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 16 and create a Christmas craft. Ornaments to make include reindeer clothespin, a candy cane antler or a prancing reindeer. The event is free

2. Holiday Victorian Tea

Create lasting memories at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida’s Holiday Victorian Tea at 2 p.m. Dec. 16 at the Museum in Valparaiso. Experience a history program about Victorian tea etiquette, costume, and holiday traditions while enjoying a variety of teas and light refreshments. Recommended for ages 6 years old and up. Cost is $18 per person or $16 for Museum Members. Space is limited. Make reservations at 678-2615.

3. Christmas Outdoor Decorating Contest

The city of Destin will host the 2017 Christmas Outdoor Decorating Contest. Judging will take place through Dec. 17 within the city limits of Destin. Categories include best decorated home, best decorated business, best decorated organization, best overall holiday, best on the harbor, and best decorated condominiums. All decorations must remain up through Dec, 31.
