1. Art Exhibit

The Destin Library will showcase the work of local artist Charlotte Parrish during the month of February. Her exhibit will feature a variety of work including paintings and small table sculptures.

2. Library Cultural Series

Rebecca Hall and Ken Anderson, otherwise known as the folk duo Hungrytown, will perform at 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Destin Library. Program is free and open to the public.

3. State of the City Address

Mayor Scott Fischer will present the city of Destin’s 33rd annual State of the City Address at 5 p.m. Feb. 5 at the City Hall Annex, 4100 Indian Bayou Trail. Refreshments will be served at 4:30 p.m. The presentation will be given prior to the 6 p.m. council meeting that evening. Citizens are encouraged to attend this celebration of the city’s accomplishments from 2017. Live streaming will be available at www.youtube.com/cityofdestin.
