All new Legends Boating Club announces 2013 launch

Special to The Log

Legendary Marine has just announced the planned 2013 launch of the Legends Boating Club targeted to both locals and vacation homeowners who want to take full advantage of the boating lifestyle without the investment of traditional boat ownership.

"We have long been asked by customers and prospects to consider operating a boating club," said Legendary Marine Managing Partner Fred Pace. "We are now prepared to roll out the red carpet with the premiere boat club package available in the market, in a win-win business model that works for us and for our boat club members. Boat club members are an entirely different target niche from boat owners, and we clearly recognize the distinction and have responded accordingly."

Legends Boating Club will offer new 2013 boats featuring top brands Cobalt, Hurricane and Sea Hunt, offering a versatile mix of sportboats, deckboats and center console fishing boats. Club members have access to all brands, as well as unlimited launches. A limited introductory charter membership is now available with special discounts; several membership categories are available. The club expects to begin inaugural boat launches in March 2013.

"The great thing about the boat club experience we are offering is how affordable it is, and how easy, " said Legends Boating Club Director Captain Jeremy Holcomb, who formerly directed a local club service prior to serving as marina manager at Legendary Marine. "In addition, there are no maintenance requirements, storage or insurance fees, plus we feature complimentary concierge service and free boater education classes as part of the membership package. We are also honoring special rates on transfer club memberships, with the undisputed best rates and the newest boats in the market."

Legends Boating Club is now accepting club membership applications. The facility will be situated at Legendary Marine's yacht club complex at Destin's Mid-Bay Bridge dealership facility. For more information, contact Captain Jeremy Holcomb at 850-337-8320 or visit
