Wyndham Vacation Rentals voted ‘Best of the Emerald Coast’ for 5th year

Wyndham Vacation Rentals was named the “Best Vacation Rental Company/Service Firm” on the Emerald Coast for the fifth year in a row by Emerald Coast magazine readers. In addition to the Company being recognized, Tops’l Beach & Racquet Resort, a Wyndham managed property, was recognized as the “Best Tennis Facility” — a new category to the magazine’s annual poll.

“We’re incredibly proud to be recognized as the top service provider for five consecutive years by members of the local community, who know our staff on a personal level and see the quality of service we provide year-round,” said Lino Maldonado, vice president of operations, Wyndham Vacation Rentals. “With guests also voting TOPS’L the ‘Best Tennis Facility,’ this year’s recognition is even more significant for our team.”

New physician’s assistant at Regatta Chiropractic

Regatta Chiropractic & Laser Center of Destin recently hired Carla Johnson as a certified chiropractic physician’s assistant.

Originally from Starkville, Miss., Johnson has worked in chiropractic care for more than 20 years. She went through the certified chiropractic physician’s assistant program at Parker College from 1991 through 1994. From then on, Johnson worked at a number of chiropractic offices and began employment at Regatta Chiropractic and Laser Center for Dr. Shawna Hogan on June 10.

“I believe chiropractic care is one of the safest, most cost-effective forms of health care available,” Johnson said. “Since my scoliosis diagnosis, chiropractic has been my only relief.”
