Destin Dental Center approaches milestone

Located in the heart of Destin, Dr. Paul Kellum at Destin Dental Center has been practicing in the area for almost 25 years.

As the city has grown and developed, so has the practice providing quality, professional dental services all along the way.  Throughout his career, Kellum has continually expanded his dental expertise as evidenced by his master level within the Academy of General Dentistry and his active participation in the National Dental Practice Based Research Network through the University of Florida.

Kellum recently joined forces with local and recent graduate Dr. Trae Pappas. Pappas earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the Louisiana State University School of Dentistry and brings to the practice the latest advancements in dental training and technology. He strives to deliver the highest standard of care available, customizing treatment plans to meet the individual needs and expectations of all his patients. A graduate of Fort Walton Beach high school, Pappas is a born and raised native with local roots going back as far as his great-great-grandmother, local pioneer and philanthropist, Liza Jackson. 

“It truly is a dream come true to be able to serve and give back to such a wonderful community that has done so much for me and my family,” said Pappas.

The practice, which has been operating since 1989,  employs three registered dental hygienists and an experienced staff.

In addition to their services in family and restorative dentistry, they also offer various implant and removable solutions for all types of dental reconstruction cases.
