Holy Kidz plans winter camps

Special to The Log
Shara Atkinson, one of the directors of Holy Kidz Camps, tells the story of the “Greatest Gift of All” — the birth of Jesus Christ — as she holds a baby just a few weeks old. Kidz come to camp for the day to make gifts for their family and friends.

His Greatest Gift camps will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 21 at Coastline Calvary Church on Mountain Drive in Destin and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 23 at Good News United Methodist Church in Santa Rosa Beach.

Camps are for Kidz entering kindergarten through fifth grade in fall 2014. Kidz make hand crafted gifts to give to family members and friends for Christmas. Then we end the day by having a birthday party for the most precious gift of all, our Savior Jesus Christ.

This year we have extended the hours to offer an exciting surprise we will tell you about after you register.

Winter Camp this year will be at Good News United Methodist from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 30, Jan. 2 and Jan. 3.
