Concealed Weapon License application available at Tax Collector’s Office
Local residents can apply for the statewide Concealed Weapon License at the Okaloosa County Tax Collector’s Office. Tax Collector Ben Anderson says, “Our office is one of only five Tax Collector Offices statewide to offer the program to our constituents.”
Applicants will need to make an appointment to be served and the location where they will complete their transaction is the Crestview branch. To schedule, visit www.OkaloosaTax.com.
NWF State College students make honor list
Northwest Florida State College recognized the superior scholastic achievement of students completing the summer 2014 term by naming them to the President’s List and Dean’s List. The President's List recognizes those students with nine or more credits in the term who earned a grade point average of 3.8 to 4.0 during the semester. The Dean's List recognizes students with nine or more credits in the term who earned a GPA of 3.5 to 3.79.
