The Fort Walton Beach Postal Service branch was recently named “second in the Nation” in the category of 100-199 members, for collecting 157,843 pounds of food during the 22nd Annual Letter Carriers’ Food Drive.

This food drive, the nation’s largest single-day food collection effort, has become an annual tradition on the second Saturday of May to help restock food banks. All food collected by our local letter carriers are distributed that day to our community’s local food banks.
