The menu for Oct. 13 - 17 at Destin Elementary includes:

• Oct. 13: Cheese Ravioli, Fish Sandwich, Sweet & Spicy Baked Fries, Apricot Cut and Fresh Fruit & Garden Bar

• Oct. 14: Chicken & Waffles Day with Chicken Nuggets and Whole Grain Waffles, Sloppy Joe, Citrus Glazed Carrots, Chilled Juicy Pears and Fresh Fruit & Garden Bar

• Oct. 15: Teriyaki Chicken, Fried Rice, Ham & Cheese Sandwich, Lemon & Cracked Pepper Broccoli, Mixed fruit and Fresh Fruit & Garden Bar

• Oct. 16: Beefy Mac, BBQ Turkey Sandwich, Whole Grain Dinner Roll, 7 Herb Green Beans, Peach Cup and Fresh Fruit & Garden Bar

• Oct. 17: Pizza Day with Cheese Pizza, Fish Sticks, Hush Puppies, Baked Beans, Applesauce and Fresh Fruit & Garden Bar

Note: Teriyaki Chicken is a traditional Asian dish that combines a zesty teriyaki sauce with juicy chicken to make your student’s taste buds tingle. Served on a bed of whole grain rice, it becomes a healthy, flavorful dish. It’s a new dish that we fully expect will quickly become a student favorite.
