Niceville dentist achieves Diplomate status

Dr. Olivier Broutin of Niceville earned Diplomate status within the International Congress of Oral Implantologists on Aug. 22.

The awarding of Diplomate status is the highest honor a professional society such as the ICOI can bestow on a dental professional involved in oral implantology. The ICOI conducts a Diplomate program in which active members are encouraged to achieve Diplomate status through their efforts in education, research, and actual clinical experience.

Advance Credential Committee interviews and testing are required. All Diplomats of the ICOI may choose to list the designate “D.I.C.O.I.” after their names.

First Florida Bank, Eglin FCU named among top 200 banks/credit unions

Two local institutions, First Florida Bank and Eglin Federal Credit Union, were named to the 2014 edition of the Top 200 Healthiest Banks/Credit Unions in America that DepositAccounts just released.

Each year, DepositAccounts.com evaluates the financial health of every federally insured bank and credit union in the United States — more than 13,000 total. Each institution is graded on a number of factors, including capitalization, deposit growth, and loan to reserve ratios, in order to determine a comprehensive health score. (In 2013, DepositAccounts’ health formula correctly pegged 100 percent of the bank failures as being in the bottom 2.5 percent (1 star rating) of all 6,500 banks prior to their failures).
