Costa Family McDonalds makes donation

The Costa Family McDonalds presented a $1,500 donation Jan. 8 to their “Coffee for a Cause” December Charity of the Month, Children in Crisis. Every Monday, Costa’s McDonalds donates 50 percent of their coffee proceeds to a Charity of the Month. Breast Cancer Awareness “Making Strides” and Fisher House were October and November’s charities.

All of Costa’s 19 stores participate in the program that will continue through 2015. A total of seven charities benefit from the program.

Other charities benefiting from “Coffee for a Cause” are Children’s Advocacy Center of the Emerald Coast, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Taylor Haugen Foundation, and Ronald McDonald House.
