Destin Snorkel named 2014 SNUBA Operator of the Year

SNUBA International has announced Destin Snorkel as the 2014 SNUBA Operator of the Year. As a popular worldwide recreational activity, SNUBA brings people closer to the underwater world and Destin Snorkel excelled above all others. Through outstanding customer service, impressive and effective marketing efforts and a dedication to community service, Destin Snorkel introduced SNUBA to divers throughout 2014.

2014 proved to be amazing for Destin Snorkel’s SNUBA program with a 63 percent increase in participants from the prior year. Customer satisfaction and safety of all participants is of highest priority for SNUBA International. Destin Snorkel SNUBA guides proved to be world-class in this area. With a perfect safety record while making sure everyone had a great time, they truly showed why they are the best.

Destin Snorkel also received Tripadvisor’s prestigious “Certificate of Excellence” award for 2014 for the second year in a row. During the 2014 season Destin’s SNUBA tours received a 96 percent customer satisfaction rate. This success is due in part to the proactive efforts of their marketing team. Through one-on-one consultations with over 200 resorts and hotels, as well as advertising in 16 widely distributed publications and resort in-room guides, Destin Snorkel’s efforts continue to prove fruitful. To put Destin Snorkel over the top they employed an aggressive social media campaign. Posting multiple Facebook posts per week with pictures and videos, as well as regular postings to Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and Google+, kept potential guests informed and enlightened to the sights above and below the water.

Destin Snorkel’s commitment to community really made them shine in 2014. Along with regular customers they hosted dives for a number of organizations doing amazing work such as Wounded Warriors, Blogger Moms and PCC (Please Come Correct) Ladies. A favorite day of theirs was being a part of the Eglin Air Force Base “Airman’s Day Out.” Destin Snorkel was able to introduce active-duty servicemen and women to SNUBA. Destin felt truly blessed to provide over 70 completed dives for these honored members of the community.
