Regatta Bay gets new name, new member benefits

Special to The Log

The Emerald Coast’s number one golf course (Emerald Coast Magazine, 2015) has a new name and, along with it, new benefits for members. Now named Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club, current and future members of the semi-private facility will now have access to Legendary Yacht Club and Marina. In addition, thanks to management company Sequoia Golf’s affiliation with ClubCorp, members have the opportunity to have reciprocal access to over 300 private golf and dining facilities across the country.

“Now more than ever, our members are receiving unmatched value,” said Dwight Lorenzen, managing partner of Regatta Bay Golf & Yacht Club. “With access to the Yacht Club, our members are gaining another pool and dining facility overlooking the Choctawhatchee Bay, not to mention great discounts on boating access. In addition, we plan on adding a fitness facility to this location in June, something our members have been craving for quite some time. These benefits and improvements, combined with the brand new Lulu’s Restaurant and Bar next door, will make this a popular place.”

“The new benefits we now can offer are almost unbelievable,” said General Manager Dan Shelton. “If our members travel for work or leisure just a couple of times per year, the program more than pays for itself. Member benefits no longer stop at Regatta Bay —benefits are now traveling with our members and it doesn’t just include golf — members are receiving access to exclusive dining clubs, major sporting tickets as well as additional travel benefits.”
