Essay contest winners

Each year the Choctawhatchee Bay Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution honors students from area schools who participate in the American History Essay Contest. 

Winners are given certificates, medals, and a check for their participation. 

Winning essays are then submitted for participation in state competition. This year’s winners (from left) are Cathryn Adele Robinson, Madeline Athearn, Eve Glenn (Christopher Columbus Essay winner) and Trevor Ard. Not pictured is Miriam Riches.
