The Second Annual Emerald Coast Father-Daughter Princess Ball will take place from 6-8:30 p.m. May 29 at the Niceville Community Center, 204 Partin Drive North in Niceville.

Princesses, dancing and all things royal will be featured at this event specially geared toward children, with a goal of helping other local children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Princess Ball is sponsored and hosted by Superior Residences of Niceville, Superior Residences at Bluewater Bay and Emerald Coast Hospice.  All proceeds will benefit Horizons-The Arc of the Emerald Coast.

"This Ball will be magical," said Event Co-Director Elizabeth Rambow of Superior Residences of Niceville. "We'll make the ballroom enchanting and fun with princess decorations, balloons, flowers and magical lighting. It's all about bringing the dads and their girls together. They can wear their princess party clothes, if they want to, but dressing up is optional."

"Princesses will receive special gifts to include a crown, flower corsage, and princess wands," said Amanda Curtis of Emerald Coast Hospice, event co-director.  "This will be a night that little girls will never forget. As event sponsors, we quickly recognized the opportunity. Supporting this kind of niche event gives us the opportunity to connect and interact directly with families in a wonderful atmosphere, all for a worthwhile cause."

This event is for girls 5-12 years old. Reservations may be made for a donation of $20 per couple and $10 per extra child. Make reservations at Horizons website http://www.horizonsfwb.com/princessball.html. Deadline to RSVP is May 28.
