Distinguished Young Woman of Okaloosa County 2016

Madison “Mimi” Taylor, Niceville, was awarded the medallion as Okaloosa County’s Distinguished Young Woman 2016 at the Okaloosa County DYW program on Saturday July 18, at the Fort Walton Beach City Auditorium. She is a senior at Niceville High Scholl and was also awarded a Chancellor’s Scholarship to Troy University, Troy, Ala.

Additionally she won the Arden Robertson Spirit of DYW Award, Interview, Self-Expression, and Talent category awards. She was first alternate for the Lydia Clark Fitness Award. Colleen Ellis, Niceville, was named first alternate and Grace Barton, Niceville, was named second alternate.
